who we are.

Having previously worked with a former BBC Dragon, Steve Sidhu hung up his suit and tore up his season ticket in September 2012, launching Ten Mile Menu in January 2013. The idea was fairly simple, to make buying great local produce easy.

Steve lives with his wife Corinna and is kept busy by 3yr old ten mile apprentice number 1, and the prospect of the arrival of number 2 in early 2018. Having lived around Princes Risborough for 5 years, they have now settled in Little Milton, a few miles West of Thame and South of Oxford.

Aside from eating and drinking, Steve enjoys long-distance trail running and the occasional round of golf. Having dragged himself 23 miles over Snowdon in Sept 2017 (with Ricky the mountain goat from the Egg House Butchery) he's running the London Marathon in 2018, good job he won't need to be in training when a new baby arrives. Ahh, now hold on a minute...

what we do.

We connect our customers with some of the best local producers around the Bucks/Oxon borders, and make shopping locally on a regular basis really simple. We're all about fresh food - our milk is collected the same day it leaves the udder, and most of our veg is picked day before delivery.

We have been lucky enough to win multiple awards, including 'Food & Drink Hero' at the Bucks & Berks Life F&D Awards, and a Countryside Alliance 'Rural Oscar' for 'Best Start-Up' South East in 2014. Our new website was launched 2.5yrs after starting the business, a project described by Steve as 'knocking down a cornershop, and building a high street' - full of independants of course!

We're hoping to prove that buying quality local produce doesn't always mean spending more money, our veg boxes are regularly 20%+ cheaper than supermarkets and are delivered free!
