We are delighted to announce that Ten Mile Menu has been named best 'Start-Up' business for the South East in the 2013 Countryside Alliance Awards, dubbed the 'Rural Oscars' (how apt!).
Off to the House of Lords we go....
As winner for the South East we now go forward to the grand final, with the chance of adding the overall nationwide title to our regional one. There will be ten regional winners competing at a ceremony hosted at the House of Lords on April 30th.
The winner will be selected by a judging panel Chaired by Countryside Alliance Executive Chairman Barney White-Spunner, and includes Secretary of State for Defra, the Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP, Daily Telegraphy Assistant Editor Philip Johnston, David Lidgate from the Worshipful Company of Butchers, and Farmers Guardian Editor Emma Penny!
We'll bring you news of the big day when it happens, but for now thank you to all who nominated us, and thank you to the judges so far who have chosen us ahead of such strong local competition across the whole of the South East - this awards takes pride of place on the Ten Mile mantlepiece!
